Parsing the search box for values is neat - I assume you are already thinking about parsing other params in the search term too, such as Capacitor Ceramic 1uF 50V?
Is it also possible (or would it be possible), to let user clear the search term without clearing the filters and category currently in play.
The use-case would be:
- Search for "Capacitor 1uF" from the search box
- Change category/adjust voltage, dielectric filters etc. to find components of interest
- Find similar caps of a slightly higher value, but within same category, voltage etc.
This doesn't work with the new search feature, because when I clear the 1uF filter from the breadcrumb bar, the search term seems to override it (the number of results remain the same). To clear the search term it seems I have to hit search, which kills all the filter values, and I'm back to redoing my filters again.
I'm imagining a simple approach would be to place the search term into the breadcrumb bar so the user can remove it; or tagify the parsed search term and highlight/remove anything that was auto parsed to become a filter, or... etc.
