Searching for analog multiplexers needs some work. To start, it defaults to "multiplexer/demultiplexer IC", and it took me several minutes of redoing searches until I finally realized I could go to "Show all" on the tab above the parts (but not at the top of the page) and select "multiplexer or switch." Interestingly, both of these are in the logic category, I think the parts that do analog switching should probably be in the analog category, even though the control circuitry could be considered "logic."
Once I finally got to the correct category, the filters are all wrong. I'm looking for a multiplexer with as many inputs as possible, as low Ron as possible and differential switching, but I can't filter any of those parameters even though the appear in the parameter columns, even when I select "Show all filters". I can sort by one at a time, but not all of them. I think this category needs some cleanup to make the filters match the kind of parameters that are pertinent to multiplexers, or maybe just make "show all filters" show filters for every column (I'm not sure if this is possible with the back end, but it would be nice, everyone has different requirements).
Also, the terminology used (functions, terminals, etc.) applies more to switches, which appear to be the majority of products in this category. Should multiplexers and switches be separate, and use different terminology? Could the same product show up in each category, but using the appropriate terminology for the same parameter?
